In-hand salary for ₹50 LPA CTC

If your offer letter says ₹50 lakh per year (₹50,00,000 CTC), this is what lands in your bank account each month under the standard assumptions below — in both tax regimes, so you can pick the better one on your employer's payroll portal.

Estimated monthly in-hand

₹3,14,229 per month

under the new tax regime — ₹37,70,746 a year after PF, professional tax and income tax

New tax regime Better for you

Assumptions used for this page

Why other websites show a different number for ₹50 LPA

For the same CTC, calculators disagree because they silently choose different basic percentages, PF bases (capped vs full basic) and states. A site assuming basic at 50% of CTC with PF on full basic will show a lower monthly figure than this page; a site ignoring gratuity inside CTC will show a higher one. None of them is "wrong" — they are answering different questions. We publish our assumptions above so you can see exactly which question this page answers.
